Procedures:

Students may visit the library before and after school and with a teacher’s permission during school hours. Library visits are scheduled once every four weeks, with special lessons or check outs in between. I certainly love to collaborate with others on motivating lessons.  

Check Out Policy:

• Students are allowed to check out three items for four weeks.  They are welcome to return their books sooner and select other reading materials. Overdue notices will be sent to the Reading teachers. 
• Parents- 5 items
• Teachers- 25 items, classroom sets, and inter-library loans.

Late Fines:

Student late fines are $0.10 a day.
Maximum late fines per item:

• 6th grade = $2.00
• 7th grade = $3.00
• 8th grade = $4.00

Students have the opportunity to their late fines with Box Tops.  Each Box Top is worth $0.10.
 
Circulation Periods:

​Since we are on a rotating schedule of four week cycles, the books will be due every four weeks. Remember to return books as soon as you are done because other people are just as excited to check them out!

• Books-3 weeks
• Magazines-3 days
• Interlibrary Loans- 4 weeks  

All patrons are responsible for lost or damaged books. Please assure you are treating library materials responsibly and turning them in on a timely basis.
